When you finally get round to seeing 2001, make sure you watch it on a widescreen tv with the sound cranked up. And remember: it's not a comedy, despite one of Britain's comic geniuses being in it; and it has the best incidental movie music ever (Strauss, Thus spake zarathustra, etc). Enjoy! more…

I did enjoy Kill Bill - but, unlike most of the other Tarantino films, it's not one (or two) I want to watch over and over again. Very good, but not brilliant.

Gladiator, hm, I think the highlight was the Gluteus Maximus speech...

I really like your choices although I'd say there has been a great movie this decade... perhaps not too many classics in the traditional sense but it's still well worth checking out 'o brother where art thou' and 'there will be blood'
both absolutely great films for so many reasons!!
